As first-time buyers in Mexico it was very comforting to know that the team of Iniestra and Associates were representing my wife and I during the process. This team was incredibly professional and at the same time very personable and genuine. We had zero problems with communication of any kind, in fact I received prompt replies to all emails, texts, and phone calls throughout the process. Arnold, Haven, and Laura were fantastic to deal with and they took a personal interest during the time to make sure our purchase went as smoothly as possible. Making an investment like this from a different country seemed like a very scary task but with the help of the Iniestra team we knew we would be in good hands. All of our concerns quickly went away as it was apparent from the start that the team had our best interest in mind and that they would make sure our purchase details and contract were correct in every way. Each member of the team went out of their way several times including answering emails or texts after hours when necessary. I cannot begin to say “Thank you” enough to all the good people at Iniestra and Associates for making our dream of owning a home in Baja come true.

We worked with Iniestra Abogados to purchase our condo in Mexico. Being first time buyers of property in a foreign country we were a little sceptical of the whole process. The staff at Iniestra where so very professional and reassuring every step of the way.
I am an US citizen that has fallen in love with Mexico. I decided to buy a lot of land in Puerto Morelos with the intention of building a home. The process of buying property in a foreign country is scary and can create much anxiety to anyone taking on the process. I hired Iniestra & Asociados to represent me for this process. They provided excellent service making the property purchase process go very smoothly. They did especially well considering we did the purchase at the height of the Covid lock down.
"I would give Iniestra Abogados five stars for the excellent, professional, and thorough work they did for me in my recent purchase of a home in Holbox. I hired Arnold Iniestra and from the moment we first spoke I knew I was in good, safe hands. From my home in Los Angeles, Arnold walked me through the entire process to buy in Mexico (using his perfect English) and handled everything. He helped me set up a Mexican corporation, accounting services, and of course, the contract of sale with the Mexican buyer. I am now a proud owner of a beautiful home in paradise, thanks to the Iniestra firm.
My husband and I have worked with Arnold and his firm for over 4 years now. They guided us through the purchase of a condo in Mexico. As Canadians it is a bit of a process but they were patient and helpful. We had to set up a corporation, bank accounts and Power of Attorneys once the purchase was settled. In addition they referred us to a notary who helped us set up our Wills in Mexico.
I had an excellent experience with Iniestra Abogados in securing my Permanent Residency Permit in practically no time, thanks to the great team at Iniestra. My green card was issued in less than 4 months after I applied, and it would have been 3 months if Immigration hadn't closed for 3 weeks over the Christmas holidays. I had to make just 3 trips to the Immigration office, where Aldo met me and walked me through the process, providing all the necessary papers and photos so I didn't have to worry about anything. And Gil was wonderful to work with - I could text him at just about any time and get a fast response - in his native English! And their prices were very fair and clear - no hidden charges. Very professional. I am now using the firm to get my CURP document - and I'll call on them whenever I need any kind of legal help here in Mexico.
I just wanted to take some time and thank you so much for all of your hard work! We purchased this property 10 long months ago and we have been struggling to accomplish paperwork ever since then. You have been so active in seeing that everything was done and we cannot thank you enough! You have worked tirelessly for months to bring us to this point and now we have finally closed! I know that you intervened on our behalf with both Mundaca and Cibanco. Because you contacted them all repeatedly they finally allowed the closing to happen. We are convinced that we would never have closed had you not been involved! Because of this we look very much forward to working with you in the future! It is a scary thing to buy property and build a home in another country - especially when we do not speak the language! We now know that we have an honest and trusted professional on our side and it gives us confidence moving forward! I hope you have a lovely holiday with your family - you have earned it!
What an excellent service! They were referred to me from a friend. I was doing a complicated land deal in Isla Mujeres, and whilst the money was only small, there was great complexity in the deal. I was SO lucky to have Arnold and team on the case. They gave me the advice I needed, made sure there was no ambiguity in the contract and got it all done on a super tight timeline of just 4 days including notarising. Across the weekend they worked on this, all for a flat fee. I was blown away when I woke on Sunday to find more questions from Arnold. He had clearly been thinking about it overnight and realised we could make things even tighter! Then to be sure we had everything covered, he spoke to the Mexican land seller and coordinated 100% of what we needed. It was amazing for me not to have to worry. In summary, I'll have no hesitation to use them again. They were spectacular to work with.

Buying property in Mexico can be very intimidating, complex, and overwhelming especially as a foreigner. While some of the terms may be the same as in the U.S. they have different meanings. It is important to have someone who can help you understand clearly each step. The team at Iniestra Abogados helped us to understand and navigate every step of the process to successfully AND personally deliver our final deed. Laura coordinated all of the communication on behalf of
Iniestra, and she was amazing. She was proactive to keep us updated, gave plenty of notice and
details about each step and provided prompt responses to all of our questions.
Positive: Professionalism, quality, responsiveness, and value.
This is the 2nd time that I have used Arnold Iniestra´s legal service to represent me. His agency is professional and more importantly extremely trusting. They had my best interest every step of the way. Answered all of my questions within minutes, called me on weekends and always made me feel like family. On many occasions a representative met with me at my resort while I was on vacation in order to ensure that I would continue to enjoy my recent stay. A representative even met with me at the airport. Their services are impeccable.

Arnold’s team, in particular Haven, posses extensive knowledge of real estate laws that can often be confusing to non Mexican residents. I would strongly recommend Iniestra legal services for any real estate transaction. In particular for non Mexican residents that are in need of legal real estate representation.
